Lon’s primary practice areas are insurance coverage and bad-faith litigation, but he also has experience with commercial litigation and criminal defense matters. With respect to his insurance practice, Lon has worked on coverage disputes arising from a wide range of claims, including medical malpractice, construction defects, securities fraud, and basic torts, and has successfully defended clients against multi-million dollar bad-faith claims. Lon graduated in 2012 from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where he worked for the Arizona Supreme Court Staff Attorneys’ Office, Judge Susan Bolton in the United States District Court for the District of Arizona, and served as Senior Editor of the Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. He was elected President of the Student Bar Association by his classmates and was awarded the Dean’s Award upon graduation. A New Jersey native, Lon studied Anthropology while an undergraduate at Princeton University.

Lon is an active member of the Defense Research Institute, which he serves as chair of the Insurance Law Committee (ILC) Public Service Subcommittee, Young Lawyer liaison to the ILC, and co-editor of The Whisper.
